Grammarly cancellation does not automatically approve a refund

Why this happens

Grammarly's refund guidance limits refunds to situations required by applicable law, while Apple handles App Store purchase requests. This is not a promise that every early cancellation returns the unused part of a payment. The receipt's seller determines which process applies to the request.

What to do

1. Identify the purchase channel and complete cancellation of the intended paid subscription.
2. Read the official refund policy for that seller and submit the specific transaction for review if you believe it qualifies.
3. Keep the cancellation end date, support reference and any refund decision as separate records.

Check the result

A plan continuing until the paid period ends can be consistent with a successful cancellation and no refund. If a refund is approved, check the stated amount and payment return independently rather than assuming the cancellation email confirms it.
