Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel LA Fitness
Purchased directly from LA Fitness
- Check your agreement for an initial term and the next billing date.
- Use your online account cancellation option or ask at the club front desk.
- Alternatively mail written cancellation to P.O. Box 54170, Irvine, CA 92619, retaining a delivery record.
- Obtain confirmation of the end date and whether any initial-term obligation or prepaid time remains.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The official guidance says mailed notices should be postmarked at least five business days before billing. If sent later, one more charge may occur; ask the club about its stated refund process.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Can I leave during an initial commitment?
For agreements with an initial term of at least three months, cancellation normally takes effect at term end. LA Fitness says early termination can involve a fee; ask about your agreement before assuming immediate termination.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
