How to Cancel TuneCore Subscription
Cancel a TuneCore Unlimited Plan in Subscriptions. Deliberate cancellation has different consequences from a failed renewal payment.

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel TuneCore
Purchased directly from TuneCore
- Sign in to TuneCore and open Account Settings.
- Select the Subscriptions tab.
- Find the Unlimited Plan and choose Cancel Subscription.
- Answer the two cancellation questions and confirm; record the displayed cancellation date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The plan stays active until the shown date. TuneCore says canceled Unlimited Plans have no grace period and music is removed when the plan expires.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
What if I pay for individual releases instead?
Use the separate release-management instructions. They distinguish Cancel Renewal from an immediate Takedown All Stores request; choose the action that matches your intended release end date.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
