How to Find All Subscriptions on Your iPhone — 4 Methods

Updated May 18, 2025  ·  3 min read  ·  iPhone / iOS

Your iPhone subscriptions are scattered across 3 different places. Here's how to find every single one — including hidden ones charged directly to your credit card.

In This Guide

  1. Method 1: Via iPhone Settings — easiest, Apple subscriptions only
  2. Method 2: Via App Store — same list, alternate route
  3. Method 3: Via Bank Statement — finds hidden direct-billed subscriptions
  4. Method 4: Use the Cancel Subscriptions App — most complete
  5. What Subscriptions Won't Show in Settings
  6. Frequently Asked Questions
The average person has 2.5 subscriptions they've forgotten about, costing ~$32/month. Many of these are billed directly to your credit card and will never show up in iPhone Settings — that's why it's important to check all the places below.
Method 1

Via iPhone Settings (Apple subscriptions only)

Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions Easiest

This is the fastest way to see all your App Store subscriptions — apps like Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, or any other subscription you signed up for inside an iPhone or iPad app. It also shows expired subscriptions from the past year.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the very top (your Apple ID).
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Your active subscriptions are listed at the top. Scroll down to see expired ones.
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

Each subscription shows the renewal date and price. Tap any subscription to see the full details or cancel it.

Tip: If you don't see a "Subscriptions" option, it means you have no active App Store subscriptions on that Apple ID — or you may need to scroll down past iCloud, Media & Purchases, and Family Sharing options.
Method 2

Via the App Store

App Store → Profile Icon → Subscriptions

This shows the exact same list as Method 1 — it's just an alternate route. Useful if you're already in the App Store.

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Review and manage your active and expired subscriptions.
App Store → Profile icon (top right) → Subscriptions

Both this method and Method 1 show the same data — use whichever feels more familiar to you.

Method 3

Via Your Bank or Credit Card Statement (for direct subscriptions)

Check Your Bank App or Credit Card Statements Most Complete

Netflix, Spotify (web subscription), Amazon Prime, Hulu, and many other popular services let you subscribe directly through their website — billing your credit or debit card directly. These subscriptions are completely invisible in your iPhone Settings.

To find them:

  1. Open your bank app or credit card app.
  2. Go to your recent transactions or statement history.
  3. Look for recurring charges — sort by merchant name or search for common service names.
  4. Note the amount and billing date for each recurring charge.

Common culprits billed directly (not through Apple):

Once you find a charge you want to stop, visit that service's website or check our cancellation guides at howtocancelsubscription.com.

Method 4

Use the Cancel Subscriptions App

Cancel Subscriptions App — Free on iPhone

The Cancel Subscriptions App is a free iPhone app that covers 200+ of the most common subscription services and gives you step-by-step cancellation guides for each one — right on your phone.

  1. Download the free app from the App Store.
  2. Browse or search for any subscription service you think you might have.
  3. Tap any service to see exactly how to check if you're subscribed and how to cancel it.
  4. Follow the in-app guide to cancel unwanted subscriptions one by one.

Important

What Subscriptions Won't Show in iPhone Settings

iPhone Settings only shows subscriptions that were purchased through the App Store. Here's what it will NOT show:
1

Subscriptions purchased through a website

If you signed up for Netflix, Spotify, or any other service on their website using a credit card, those subscriptions are billed directly and won't appear in iPhone Settings at all. You need to cancel them on the service's own website.

2

Family members' subscriptions on a different Apple ID

Each Apple ID has its own Subscriptions list. If your spouse or child signed up for something on their own Apple account, it won't show in your Settings — even if you share a payment method through Family Sharing.

3

Subscriptions cancelled more than a year ago

Apple typically shows expired subscriptions for up to 12 months after they end. After that, they disappear from the list entirely. Your bank statement is the only reliable record of past charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't my subscription show up in iPhone Settings?
iPhone Settings only shows subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. If you signed up directly on a website — like Netflix's website or Spotify's website — those subscriptions are billed to your credit card and won't appear in Settings. You'll need to check your bank statement or log in to the service's website directly.
How do I see subscriptions on iPhone that are charged to my credit card?
Open your bank app or credit card app and look at your transaction history. Search for recurring charges or filter by merchant. Common culprits include Netflix, Spotify (web plan), Hulu, Amazon Prime, and many others. These subscriptions are billed directly and don't appear in your iPhone Settings.
Can I see ALL my subscriptions in one place on iPhone?
Not natively — Apple's Settings only shows App Store subscriptions. To see everything in one place, use the free Cancel Subscriptions App, which covers 200+ popular services and helps you cancel each one step-by-step.
How do I cancel a subscription I found on my iPhone?
For App Store subscriptions: go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → tap the subscription → tap Cancel Subscription. For subscriptions charged directly to your credit card, you need to cancel through the service's website or app. Visit our cancellation guides for step-by-step instructions for 100+ services.
How do I see expired subscriptions on iPhone?
Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Scroll to the bottom of the screen — expired subscriptions appear in a separate "Expired" section below your active ones. Apple shows expired subscriptions for at least 12 months after they end.
What if I share subscriptions with family?
Family members on a different Apple ID each have their own Subscriptions list in Settings. If you use Family Sharing, the family organizer pays for shared subscriptions (like Apple One or Apple Arcade) — these will appear in the organizer's Subscriptions list. Each member's individual App Store purchases appear only on their own account.
