Bumble paid with Apple Pay: it may not be an App Store subscription

Apple Pay is a payment method. An App Store subscription is a separate purchase route with different management controls.

Why this happens

Bumble's guidance groups direct card, PayPal and Apple Pay purchases under Bumble's own cancellation controls. Confusing Apple Pay with an Apple-billed subscription can send you to an empty store list while the direct plan keeps renewing. Identify the seller on the receipt before deciding where to act.

What to do

  1. Find the Bumble receipt and establish whether it is direct billing paid with Apple Pay or an App Store purchase.
  2. For direct billing, use Bumble's subscription management; for an Apple-billed subscription, use the purchasing Apple Account's subscriptions.
  3. Cancel the matching Boost, Premium or Premium+ item and save its end date.

Check the result

The device and payment logo alone do not prove who manages renewal. If the receipt is unclear, ask official support to identify the purchase reference before starting a second plan.
