Why this happens
Spotify identifies another account as a possible reason for charges when the account you opened shows Free. Different email addresses or sign-in methods can lead you to different accounts. A bank charge alone does not tell you which login owns Premium, and changing the Free account will not fix a separate paid plan.
What to do
- Search your receipts for the Spotify payment and note the account details and payment reference.
- Check the other sign-in methods you actually used, then inspect Manage your plan in the matching account.
- Cancel the paid plan there, or ask Spotify support to locate the charge if you cannot recover that account.
Check the result
Share the receipt reference through official support, without sending a password or full card details. Verify the resulting cancellation against the charged account, not the already-Free one.
