Strava refund request: separate it from stopping renewal

Strava describes a 14-day refund eligibility window for direct purchases. Store purchases use the store's own process.

Why this happens

A refund request and cancellation have different outcomes: one asks for a payment review, while the other stops future renewal. Confirm the seller and relevant purchase date before applying the direct-purchase guidance. Do not assume that clicking Cancel automatically submits a refund request or that every store follows the same window.

What to do

  1. Read the receipt to identify the seller and the transaction you want reviewed.
  2. Stop renewal through the original subscription platform and save the cancellation confirmation.
  3. For a direct purchase, review Strava's stated refund eligibility and contact its support; for Apple or Google billing, use that store's official refund route.

Check the result

Keep any refund approval separately and verify the payment return if approved. A subscription end date proves neither refund eligibility nor that the refund has been processed.
