Twitch charge after channel cancellation: build the right evidence

Why this happens

Twitch supports more than one subscription product and may use payment processors. A bank descriptor alone can be incomplete. The original confirmation and receipt let support distinguish a later renewal, another active channel, or a different product without guessing from the account's visible subscriber benefits.

What to do

1. Collect the cancellation confirmation with its channel and expiry date, plus the receipt for the disputed charge.
2. Check current subscriptions for another recurring item and identify whether the original purchase was direct or store-managed.
3. Contact the actual seller's official support with the username, channel, transaction reference and relevant dates, requesting review of the specific charge.

Check the result

Keep any refund decision separately from the renewal status. Do not share passwords or full card details, and do not assume that stopping future renewal automatically reverses a completed payment.
