How to Cancel Airtable Subscription
Stop Airtable renewal by downgrading the paid workspace. Team and self-serve Business plans use different flows.

Before you cancel
Identify every paid workspace and export needed data. The Business downgrade also permanently deletes the organization and its settings; review this with its administrator.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Airtable
Purchased directly from Airtable
- For a Team plan, open your account page and select the paid workspace under Workspace settings.
- Choose Change or cancel plan, review the changes, and select Continue cancellation.
- Complete the feedback prompts and save the scheduled Free-plan date.
Self-serve Business plan
- As an administrator, open the admin panel, then Billing. Under Plan details, open the three-dot menu and select Downgrade.
- Read the organization-deletion warnings and acknowledgments before proceeding.
- If you accept those effects, acknowledge the changes, enter the organization name, and confirm Delete organization. Save the effective date.
This flow removes organization settings. Do not treat it as a harmless change to one personal account.
Open provider pageMake sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Team workspaces keep paid features until the current billing period ends.
- Business workspaces move to Free on the stated date; the organization-deletion step cannot be undone.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Is removing the card enough?
No. Airtable distinguishes payment-method removal from downgrading the plan.
What if sales manages our contract?
Ask the organization administrator or Airtable account team to confirm the termination terms.
