How to Cancel Amazon Luna Subscription

Turn off renewal for each unwanted Amazon Luna subscription, checking included Prime access separately.

Before you cancel

List each Luna subscription on your account. Cancelling one does not cancel the others.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Amazon Luna

Purchased directly from Amazon Luna

  1. Open Your Memberships & Subscriptions in the purchasing Amazon account.
  2. Find Amazon Luna and select the subscription you want to stop.
  3. Turn off automatic renewal and complete confirmation.
  4. Save the end date and repeat for other unwanted Luna plans.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Access lasts through the current billing cycle. Stored game progress remains associated with the same Amazon or linked provider account.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Will my game progress be erased?

Amazon says stored progress is unaffected by cancelling the subscription.

Does this cancel Amazon Prime too?

Prime is a separate membership. Review its billing only if you also intend to stop that larger bundle.
