Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Bolt
Purchased directly from Bolt
- Sign in to Bolt and open the bottom-left profile icon, then Subscription.
- Select Billing details in the top-right corner and Cancel subscription.
- Choose Next in the confirmation dialog to open the StackBlitz billing portal.
- Select a reason and Next.
- In Before you go, select the final Cancel subscription button and save the result.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Your paid plan lasts until the billing period ends, then Free-plan limits apply. Access to paid token allocations, including rollover tokens, ends with the paid term.
Cancellation and refunds
Bolt’s billing guide states that subscriptions are non-refundable. Contact support from the paid account’s email for purchase-specific questions.
Common questions
Does removing a card cancel my subscription?
No. Bolt says an active plan’s primary payment method cannot be deleted. Use subscription cancellation; removing an additional card can simply shift billing to the primary card.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
