How to Cancel CARROT Weather Subscription

For an Apple-billed CARROT Weather subscription, turn off renewal through Apple’s subscription settings.

Before you cancel

Use the Apple Account that appears on your receipt. Plan names may differ from older CARROT FAQs; select the subscription actually listed by Apple.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel CARROT Weather

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select CARROT Weather, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Save the expiration shown by Apple. The provider’s FAQ asks users to stop renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Is changing to a lower tier the same as canceling?

No. The provider describes downgrading as another renewing subscription option. Select cancellation if you want future recurring payments to stop.

Do I need to remove the app first?

Keep the app while checking the subscription if helpful. The documented billing control is Apple’s subscription management, not app removal.
