How to Cancel PredictWind Forecast Subscription

Cancel PredictWind Forecast through its website or the app store used for payment. Forecast and satellite services are independent.

Before you cancel

Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel PredictWind Forecast

Purchased directly from PredictWind Forecast

  1. For a direct purchase, sign in to the PredictWind Forecast website.
  2. Open the account’s forecasting subscription management linked in the official cancellation guide.
  3. Cancel automatic renewal or request that Billing schedule a return to Free at expiry.
  4. Save confirmation of the expiry date and non-renewing status.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select PredictWind Forecast, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select PredictWind Forecast, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Direct Forecast plans return to Free when the current subscription expires. These plans cannot be paused.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does ending Forecast also cancel Iridium airtime?

No. PredictWind says its satellite services are managed separately in the Satellite Portal. Review each service independently so an unwanted airtime plan does not remain active.

What should I keep after canceling?

Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
