How to Cancel DocPlay Subscription

Cancel DocPlay by changing the website subscription to Free User, or cancel through the original mobile or Amazon provider.

Before you cancel

Find the receipt and trial deadline. The free trial becomes a paid subscription unless cancelled.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel DocPlay

Purchased directly from DocPlay

  1. For direct billing, sign in on the DocPlay website and open Your Account.
  2. Select Preferences and the Subscription tab.
  3. Choose Free User to cancel and complete any confirmation.
  4. Save the resulting plan status and access end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select DocPlay, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select DocPlay, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Check the confirmation for your purchase-specific access end date. Contact DocPlay support if the account status is unclear.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Sign in to the Amazon account used for payment and manage the DocPlay subscription there.

Can DocPlay website settings cancel an Apple purchase?

No. The official help page directs Apple and Google subscribers to their respective stores.
