How to Cancel Fishbrain Pro Subscription

Cancel a website-billed Fishbrain Pro plan through its emailed verification flow. Check the purchase channel if management is unavailable.

Before you cancel

Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Fishbrain Pro

Purchased directly from Fishbrain Pro

  1. Sign in to Fishbrain on the web with the Pro account.
  2. Open the upper-right menu, select Fishbrain Pro, then Manage Subscription.
  3. Enter the account email and use the six-digit code sent to your inbox.
  4. Open the plan, cancel it and complete confirmation. Use the original app store for an app-store purchase.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Fishbrain Pro, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Fishbrain Pro, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Keep the resulting end date and confirmation. Pro features, including detailed catch locations and depth maps, depend on an active plan.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Why is Manage Subscription missing?

The web management option applies to Fishbrain website purchases. The page identifies App Store or Google Play billing instead when that provider owns the subscription.

What should I keep after canceling?

Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
