How to Cancel MindMeister Subscription
Cancel a MindMeister Personal, Pro or Business subscription through the account’s plan controls.

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel MindMeister
Purchased directly from MindMeister
- Open your profile at the upper right and choose Plans.
- Select the cancellation option for the subscription.
- Acknowledge the requested checkbox and continue cancellation.
- Complete the reason form and final confirmation.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The paid plan continues until the purchased period ends, then changes to Basic.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can I delete the account before the paid term ends?
The guide distinguishes cancellation from deletion. Self-service deletion follows expiry; contact support if you need earlier deletion, after saving your maps.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
