How to Cancel Napster Subscription

Cancel Napster through account Billing, Apple, or Google Play according to the original purchase.

Before you cancel

Check which email and payment platform appear on the receipt before selecting a route.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Napster

Purchased directly from Napster

  1. Open your profile, My account, then Billing in Napster, or use the account website.
  2. Locate the current plan or pricing section and select cancellation.
  3. Complete the confirmation and record the end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Napster, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Napster, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Paid features remain until the current billing period ends, then the account changes to Free.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Can I just select a cheaper plan?

A cheaper paid plan continues billing. Select cancellation if you want the paid renewal stopped.

Why is my mobile purchase missing from website billing?

Apple and Google Play subscriptions are managed by those stores.
