How to cancel PrivateVPN
Purchased directly from PrivateVPN
- Open the PrivateVPN website and sign in with the account associated with the receipt.
- Find Cancel Subscription in the account area and complete the cancellation.
- Save the resulting renewal status and ask support if the account does not show a completed change.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Check the confirmed access end date before uninstalling the VPN or removing its configuration.
