How to Cancel Publer Subscription

Cancel Publer in Billing, after saving scheduled content that will not survive the downgrade.

Before you cancel

Save copies of scheduled posts, assets and required reports before submitting cancellation. Identify the original website or store billing account.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Publer

Purchased directly from Publer

  1. Open your profile, then Settings and Billing.
  2. Choose Cancel or pause.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription.
  4. Acknowledge the required checkbox and Confirm Cancellation.
  5. Save the effective date and updated status.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Publer, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Publer, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The paid plan runs through the billing cycle, then changes to Free. The cancellation guide warns that scheduled posts are lost on the downgrade.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Is a pause equivalent to ending the subscription?

No. Publer offers a separate temporary pause that preserves data. Check its restart terms; use cancellation if you do not want the paid plan to resume.

What should I keep after canceling?

Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
