Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel ReadingIQ
Purchased directly from ReadingIQ
- Find the account email and trial or renewal date on your ReadingIQ receipt.
- Log in as the parent on the ReadingIQ website.
- Open the Parent Section and use its membership cancellation controls.
- Complete the flow and retain the resulting status; contact ReadingIQ support if the account cannot be located.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The direct signup offer renews automatically after its trial unless canceled in the Parent Section. Confirm the actual dates of your offer rather than assuming every plan is identical.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Is removing a child’s profile enough?
No. The signup terms point to membership cancellation in the Parent Section. Changing a reading profile does not provide confirmation that recurring billing has stopped.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
