How to Cancel Snapchat+ Subscription

Cancel Snapchat+ through Apple, Google, or Snapchat’s web account portal, depending on where you subscribed. Check the plan name so you do not confuse Snapchat+ with Memories+.

Before you cancel

Find the receipt and trial deadline. Snapchat reminds iOS customers to cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Snapchat+

Purchased on the web

  1. Sign in to the Snapchat account that owns the plan.
  2. Open subscription management, select the relevant plan and cancel it.
  3. Complete confirmation and record the end date.

For a web-billed plan, opening Manage in Snapchat redirects to the web subscription page.

Billed by Apple

  1. Open the Apple subscriptions list for the Apple Account on your receipt and select Snapchat+.
  2. Choose the cancellation option, complete confirmation, and record the expiry date.

Use this route only when Apple billed the purchase. A website payment made on an iPhone is not necessarily an App Store subscription.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play subscriptions using the Google account on your receipt and select Snapchat+.
  2. Complete cancellation and check the resulting subscription status.

If the plan is missing, compare the receipt with your other Google accounts before trying a different billing route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Use the subscription confirmation to check the remaining access period.
  • Review any other plans listed in billing separately.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation stops renewal; it does not by itself return a previous payment. Ask the company that billed you to review the charge and provide its current refund terms.
