Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel Teachable School Plan
Purchased directly from Teachable School Plan
- As Primary Owner, export content, student lists and sales records; review student billing.
- Open Settings, then Billing in school admin.
- Choose Manage Plan, then Cancel Plan.
- Complete the impact-review prompts and save the end-date banner.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The cancellation takes effect at billing-period end. The school can go offline and students can lose access; canceling the school plan does not automatically cancel active student subscriptions.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Does this cancel a course I bought as a student?
No. This guide is for the owner’s Teachable platform plan. A student purchase is managed with the school that sold the course.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
