Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel Tonal
Purchased directly from Tonal
- Review the membership commitment and upcoming payment.
- On the trainer, open Profile & Account, then Your Account.
- Go to Membership Management and choose Cancel Membership.
- Complete the prompts and save the effective date; contact 855-MY-TONAL if you need help.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- An initial commitment may still apply. Selling a trainer is separate from ending its membership, so arrange cancellation and account removal before handing it to another owner.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Does updating payment details in Subscription Manager cancel membership?
No. Billing details and membership cancellation are different controls. Use Membership Management and verify the final status.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
