How to Cancel TryHackMe Subscription
TryHackMe requires a final feedback form after selecting cancellation; stopping at the first prompt leaves the process incomplete.

Before you cancel
Check the purchase email, billing provider, renewal date and account owner. Save any files or records you need before changing the plan.

How to cancel TryHackMe
Purchased directly from TryHackMe
- Open your profile and choose Manage plan.
- Select Switch to Free, then Cancel Subscription.
- Complete the feedback form on the next page and submit the final cancellation.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid benefits remain through the purchased term. Learning progress is preserved, but subscriber-only rooms become unavailable when access ends.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Does switching from MAX to Premium stop billing?
No. Premium is still a paid plan. Choose Free and finish cancellation if you want to stop recurring subscription payments.
How do I confirm cancellation?
Save the final canceled status or scheduled end date, together with the confirmation email. A request awaiting a reply is not a completed cancellation. Compare any later charge with that record and the original receipt.
