Before you cancel
Export important projects and audio first. Review which three projects were edited most recently and whether you depend on custom My Voice Maker voices.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Typecast
Purchased directly from Typecast
- Sign in and open My Plan at the bottom left.
- Scroll to Cancel Plan.
- Complete the cancellation prompts.
- Save the end date and verify the resulting plan status.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid access continues until the purchased period ends. Typecast warns that only the three most recently edited projects remain after the downgrade, and My Voice Maker voices are removed or replaced.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

What should I download before leaving?
Save needed audio and project material before canceling. The help guide limits download history to seven days after each download; the downgraded account has trial-character restrictions.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
