Why this happens
Apple's subscription guidance explains that a missing Cancel button or an expiry message can indicate an already-canceled subscription. But you must first locate the correct Apple Account and the actual Apple Music item. The absence of the entire item has a different meaning and can point to another purchaser.
What to do
- Open Apple Account settings, then Subscriptions, and select the Apple Music entry.
- Read whether the page gives an expiration date instead of a future renewal; keep a record of that state.
- Compare the account and plan with the receipt, checking Apple One or another purchase route if the item is missing altogether.
Check the result
An expiration date on the correct subscription is stronger evidence than the app still playing music. If a later charge contradicts it, provide Apple the receipt and the recorded expiry.
