Canceling a legacy Canva Teams plan: check return restrictions

An older Canva Teams plan may not be available again after cancellation. Read that consequence before confirming.

Why this happens

Canva's cancellation guidance warns about returning to legacy Teams plans. This makes the decision more than a temporary stop in billing for some teams. Review the current membership, collaborators and feature needs instead of assuming you can repurchase exactly the same offer later.

What to do

  1. Select the team that owns the legacy plan and read the plan name and cancellation warning in Billing.
  2. Check which designs, team workflows and paid features your collaborators rely on, then decide whether the proposed Free limits meet those needs.
  3. If you proceed, finish cancellation and save both the paid-through date and the warning about returning to the previous plan.

Check the result

Do not promise teammates that the same legacy pricing or product can be restored. The confirmation should explain the plan actually ending and when its paid features stop.
