Why this happens
Canva may offer a pause during cancellation. Its pause option can restart automatically, so it should only be chosen when you want that temporary arrangement. The final state in Billing is more reliable than remembering that you clicked the first Cancel plan button.
What to do
- Open Billing for the correct Canva account and team and start Cancel plan.
- Read any pause offer; to stop renewal, continue the cancellation flow through its final confirmation rather than accepting the temporary break.
- Reopen billing details and save the resulting end date and cancellation status.
Check the result
If you intentionally select a pause, record its restart date and review the plan before that date. A pause confirmation should not be labeled as permanent cancellation in a subscription tracker.
