Why this happens
Crunchyroll's membership information is the starting point for identifying the payment route. The device used to watch is not enough: an app-store purchase, direct web purchase or platform channel can all look like access to the same shows. Match the membership details to the receipt before selecting a route.
What to do
- Open the account's Membership Info and read the payment or provider information.
- Compare it with the latest receipt, then use Crunchyroll's direct controls or the named store's subscriptions as appropriate.
- Complete cancellation in that billing system and keep its final confirmation and access end date.
Check the result
If the provider is unclear, ask Crunchyroll support to identify the purchase using the receipt. A missing direct cancel button does not prove a store-managed renewal has stopped.
