Why this happens
A scheduled cancellation can leave Premium active until the current cycle ends. That continued access is not, by itself, a new charge. The stronger evidence is the status shown for the correct membership and its confirmation email. A later refund or separate purchase can require its own review.
What to do
- Open Paid memberships in the account named by your receipt and inspect the Premium end date.
- Match that date to the cancellation confirmation rather than testing only whether background playback still works.
- If a new charge posts after the effective date, compare its product and transaction date before contacting the billing provider.
Check the result
Keep both the confirmation and the later receipt if there is a discrepancy. Do not reactivate the plan merely because paid features remain available before the scheduled end.
