How to Cancel AdGuard VPN Subscription

Cancel a direct AdGuard VPN subscription under Licenses, or use Apple for an Apple-billed purchase.

Before you cancel

Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel AdGuard VPN

Purchased directly from AdGuard VPN

  1. Sign in to the AdGuard account connected to your purchase.
  2. Open Licenses and locate AdGuard VPN.
  3. Choose Cancel Subscription beneath that plan.
  4. Complete confirmation and keep the expiry date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select AdGuard VPN, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The license remains usable until its expiry date after renewal is stopped.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does installing the Android app establish who bills me?

No. Use the receipt to identify the seller. This direct-account route applies when AdGuard bills the license; an Apple receipt uses the Apple route below.

What should I keep after canceling?

Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
