How to Cancel Alchemer Subscription
An Alchemer administrator can cancel a self-service subscription from Account Overview.

Before you cancel
Export responses and notify anyone running active surveys. Plan when collection must stop before confirming cancellation.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Alchemer
Purchased directly from Alchemer
- Open Account Summary and Account Overview.
- Under Common Account Actions, select Cancel Subscription.
- Read the cancellation information, enter the password and acknowledge the required checkbox.
- Choose Cancel Paid Subscription and save the effective date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid access continues until the term ends. Once the account becomes inactive, shared survey links return 404 and cannot collect responses.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Is Delete Account the same as canceling the paid plan?
No. Deletion is an immediate permanent action. Managed Enterprise customers should contact their customer success manager about ending the agreement.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
