How to Cancel Balsamiq Cloud Subscription

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Balsamiq Cloud
Purchased directly from Balsamiq Cloud
- As space owner or billing admin, open the avatar menu.
- Choose Manage Subscription to reach the Billing page.
- Open Manage subscription in that page to enter the billing portal.
- Choose Cancel Subscription and finish confirmation.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Editing stops after the paid period. The documented read-only/export window lasts 30 days after the subscription ends, followed by deletion; keep local backups.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Is emailing support enough to cancel?
Balsamiq’s terms require in-product cancellation for a direct subscription. A refund request is separate and does not replace those steps.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
