Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Biteable
Purchased directly from Biteable
- Open the account icon in the lower-left corner.
- Choose Plan & billing.
- Use the link under Cancel your subscription and provide the required reason.
- Confirm with Cancel subscription and save the term end date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid features remain through the term. Afterward, projects are edit-only: published links continue working, but downloads and publishing updates are unavailable.
Cancellation and refunds
Biteable’s policy excludes refunds for purchases and renewals. Canceling after a renewal does not reverse that payment.
Common questions
Does a free trial automatically charge me?
The documented seven-day trial requires no card and ends automatically. A charge requires choosing a paid plan and confirming payment. Accounts without a paid or trial plan for 12 months can be deleted.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
