Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Powtoon
Purchased directly from Powtoon
- Sign in and open Account Info.
- Find Active plans and hover over the plan you want to end.
- Select the Cancel plan action that appears.
- Complete the cancellation form and submit the request; repeat for other plans you want to stop.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid features remain until billing-period end, then the account returns to the free tier.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
What if the Cancel plan option never appears?
The official help article directs users to Customer Support when the hover action is unavailable. Include the affected plan and account details and request confirmation of non-renewal.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
