How to Cancel Sketch Subscription
Cancel a directly billed Sketch Workspace as an Admin. Back up documents before the post-subscription retention period ends.

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Sketch
Purchased directly from Sketch
- Sign in to the Sketch web app as an Admin.
- Use Switch Workspace to select the correct workspace.
- Open Settings and Billing.
- Choose Cancel Subscription, confirm and record the exact access end date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid access continues through the billing period. The cancellation guidance describes temporary read-only access and permanent Workspace deletion after the retention window; download your documents now.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
What if I bought Sketch through the Mac App Store?
Cancel through Apple instead: open the Mac App Store account settings, manage Subscriptions, find Sketch and cancel. Apple handles refund requests for those purchases.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
