How to cancel Consensus
Purchased directly from Consensus
- Open your profile and Settings, then Subscription.
- Choose Manage and Cancel subscription.
- Decline the pause offer if you want cancellation.
- Complete the remaining prompts and save the end date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid access remains through the current billing period, followed by the free tier.
Cancellation and refunds
The refund policy lists request windows of 72 hours for monthly purchases and five days for annual purchases, with a separate EU provision. Ask support which terms apply to your charge.
Common questions
Is pausing the same as cancelling?
No. A pause temporarily suspends the plan; use the cancellation path to stop renewal.
How do I request a refund?
Contact Consensus support with the account email, receipt number, and explanation promptly; eligibility has time limits.
