How to Cancel QuillBot Subscription

End QuillBot Premium renewal in Account Details for a direct purchase. Mobile app-store purchases must be canceled through the relevant store.

Before you cancel

Note the billing email and next charge. If your plan is paused, check the official instructions before assuming there is no subscription.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel QuillBot

  1. Sign in, open your profile initial and choose Account Details.
  2. Open Your Plan and select Cancel subscription.
  3. Complete the prompts to disable renewal.
  4. Check that the account shows Ends on and a Resubscribe option.

Billed by Apple

  1. Open the Apple subscriptions list for the Apple Account on your receipt and select QuillBot.
  2. Choose the cancellation option, complete confirmation, and record the expiry date.

Use this route only when Apple billed the purchase. A website payment made on an iPhone is not necessarily an App Store subscription.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play subscriptions using the Google account on your receipt and select QuillBot.
  2. Complete cancellation and check the resulting subscription status.

If the plan is missing, compare the receipt with your other Google accounts before trying a different billing route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Premium access lasts until the billing cycle finishes.
  • A scheduled renewal date still showing after the flow needs further checking.

QuillBot’s current help page limits refunds to cases required by law. App-store refund requests go to Apple or Google.

Common questions

Why is Cancel subscription missing on a paused plan?

QuillBot says a paused plan must first be resumed to expose the cancel control. Read that screen carefully and complete cancellation immediately afterward.

Can support help cancel?

The official guide also allows a request through QuillBot’s support form.
