How to Cancel Speechify Subscription

Cancel Speechify using the billing provider that originally sold the plan. Website subscriptions and mobile-store subscriptions have separate management routes.

Before you cancel

Check the product name on your receipt, not just the Speechify brand. Keep the invoice and the subscription email handy if you need support.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Speechify

Speechify website purchase

  1. Sign in to the account used at checkout.
  2. Open the Subscription section in settings.
  3. Choose Cancel Subscription and finish the confirmation steps.
  4. Save the resulting status and end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. Open the Apple subscriptions list for the Apple Account on your receipt and select Speechify.
  2. Choose the cancellation option, complete confirmation, and record the expiry date.

Use this route only when Apple billed the purchase. A website payment made on an iPhone is not necessarily an App Store subscription.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play subscriptions using the Google account on your receipt and select Speechify.
  2. Complete cancellation and check the resulting subscription status.

If the plan is missing, compare the receipt with your other Google accounts before trying a different billing route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Use the confirmation to establish when paid access ends.
  • For a bundle sold by another provider, manage the plan with that provider.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation stops renewal; it does not by itself return a previous payment. Ask the company that billed you to review the charge and provide its current refund terms.

Common questions

Why do I not see a website cancel button?

Your receipt may be from Apple, Google, or a bundle partner. Use that seller’s subscription controls.

Should I delete my account first?

Keep access to billing until you have recorded the cancellation confirmation and any remaining charges.
