Before you cancel

Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Copper

Purchased directly from Copper

  1. Sign in as Account Owner.
  2. Open Settings and Billing.
  3. Select Request Cancellation and follow all prompts.
  4. Confirm that the account is scheduled to cancel at its next renewal date.
Open provider page

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The plan is set to end on the next renewal date. Keep the confirmation and a local data export.

Cancellation and refunds

Copper’s cancellation help page states that partial refunds are not offered.

Common questions

Can Billing Support handle cancellation instead?

Yes, through the in-app chat or the email in the official help page. Copper warns that replies can take up to 24 hours and recommends in-app cancellation when available.

What should I keep after canceling?

Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
