How to Cancel DataCamp Subscription

Cancel DataCamp from Manage Subscription and finish the final screen. Access differs if the current renewal is still unpaid.

Before you cancel

Check both the subscription date and payment status. A displayed renewal date does not necessarily mean the renewal charge succeeded.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel DataCamp

Purchased directly from DataCamp

  1. Open the menu beside your avatar and choose Account Settings.
  2. Go to Subscriptions, then Manage Subscription.
  3. Choose Continue to Cancel if you do not want a pause.
  4. Finish the final confirmation and recheck Account Settings, then Subscription.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select DataCamp, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select DataCamp, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • For an already paid period, Premium continues to its end before the account returns to Free.
  • If the renewed payment is pending or unpaid, DataCamp says cancellation can end Premium immediately and stop that pending renewal.
  • Course progress, XP, and achievements remain.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Why did access stop immediately?

Check whether the renewal payment was still pending or unpaid; the help center documents a different outcome for that state.

Can I cancel an App Store plan here?

Apple and Google purchases are managed through their respective subscription settings.
