How to Cancel Down Dog Subscription

Turn off Down Dog auto-renewal in Membership, or cancel through the original mobile store.

Before you cancel

Use the Down Dog email used at purchase. The payment receipt can go to a different Apple, Google, or PayPal email.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Down Dog

Purchased directly from Down Dog

  1. Open the Account tab and select the subscription at the top.
  2. In Membership, turn off Auto Renew.
  3. Complete any confirmation and save the renewal setting and expiry date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Down Dog, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Down Dog, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Check the resulting membership details. A single Down Dog subscription works across its apps when you use the same account.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Why is no subscription listed?

It may be attached to another Down Dog email. Check the original account before assuming it is cancelled.

Does cancelling one Down Dog app cover the shared membership?

The provider describes one membership across its apps. Verify the specific subscription record rather than cancelling app installations.
