How to Cancel Fitbit / Google Health Premium Subscription

Find the billing source for Fitbit Premium, now documented as Google Health Premium, before cancelling.

Before you cancel

Check the receipt. Access included with a Google One plan is different from a separately billed Premium subscription.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Fitbit / Google Health Premium

Purchased directly from Fitbit / Google Health Premium

  1. For Google Store billing, sign in to the store with the purchasing Google account.
  2. Open your profile and Subscriptions, then the Google Health Premium entry.
  3. Open Payment Detail or Payment method and choose Cancel subscription.
  4. Confirm and record the end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Fitbit / Google Health Premium, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Fitbit / Google Health Premium, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Paid or trial access lasts until its current end date. Cancellation does not itself erase health data.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

How do I get to Google Play cancellation?

In the Google Health app, open your profile, Settings, Premium, then Cancel membership. Finish on the Google Play subscription screen.

What if Premium is included in Google One?

Review that bundle’s billing before changing it: cancelling a larger bundle affects other benefits too.
