Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel Educative
Purchased directly from Educative
- Sign in to the account used for the Educative purchase.
- Open its transactions page and find the recurring subscription.
- Cancel automatic renewal and complete the confirmation.
- Keep the result and record the end of the purchased term.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- After expiry, you can still sign in and retain course history, but paid courses are no longer accessible.
Cancellation and refunds
The subscription FAQ states that canceling during the paid period does not issue a refund. It prevents the next renewal while preserving the remainder of the term.
Common questions
Will cancellation erase my course history?
The FAQ says account login and course history remain after the subscription ends. Losing paid-course access is different from deleting the account.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
