How to Cancel GeForce NOW Subscription

For an NVIDIA-billed GeForce NOW plan, cancellation is a switch from paid membership to Free. Start from your NVIDIA account, not a game-store purchase page.

Before you cancel

Check whether NVIDIA or a regional GeForce NOW partner issued the invoice. Record the current plan and any separate add-ons before changing it.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel GeForce NOW

NVIDIA membership

  1. Sign in to the account that holds the paid membership.
  2. Open GeForce NOW membership management.
  3. Choose the Free membership instead of the paid plan and complete confirmation.
  4. Read the effective date shown before leaving billing.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The confirmation determines when the paid membership changes.
  • Check separately billed add-ons and your game-store purchases individually; they are not the same billing record.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation stops renewal; it does not by itself return a previous payment. Ask the company that billed you to review the charge and provide its current refund terms.

Common questions

My invoice names a regional partner. Where do I cancel?

Use that provider’s account and support instructions. NVIDIA account settings may not manage a partner’s payment.

Does uninstalling GeForce NOW prove cancellation?

No. Keep the membership change confirmation from the billing account.
