Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel IFTTT
Purchased directly from IFTTT
- Sign in to the IFTTT account named on the receipt.
- Open Billing.
- Select Cancel and finish confirmation.
- Save the current cycle’s end date and download relevant receipts.
Billed by Apple
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select IFTTT, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
- Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.
A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.
Open provider pageBilled by Google Play
- Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select IFTTT, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
- Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.
If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.
Open provider pageMake sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Pro or Pro+ continues through the paid cycle, then the account automatically returns to Free. Check which Applets and paid features you need before that transition.
Cancellation and refunds
IFTTT’s billing FAQ states that payments are final and non-refundable. A payment dispute must be addressed separately with the billing provider.
Common questions
Is uninstalling IFTTT sufficient?
Use the billing cancellation flow for the original purchase channel. Removing the app does not carry out the documented subscription cancellation.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
