How to Cancel JustAnswer Subscription
JustAnswer membership can renew monthly after you ask a question. End membership in the account that was charged, rather than simply closing a conversation.

Before you cancel
Check your receipt for the account email and distinguish membership from any separately purchased expert service. Keep the last invoice for reference.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel JustAnswer
JustAnswer website
- Sign in and open My Account.
- Choose the Membership panel and select Cancel membership.
- Finish confirmation and return to Membership to check the status.
JustAnswer mobile app
- Open the app and sign in to the billed account.
- Go to Account, then Manage Membership.
- Select Cancel Membership and complete confirmation.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Verify the membership status and effective end date in your account.
- Keep any separate service receipts so you can identify later charges accurately.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation stops renewal; it does not by itself return a previous payment. Ask the company that billed you to review the charge and provide its current refund terms.
Common questions
Does finishing my question end the membership?
No. The help page describes a recurring membership, which needs its own cancellation.
Where do I check whether it worked?
Use My Account → Membership. If the status is unclear, ask Customer Care to confirm it in writing.
