How to Cancel Make Subscription
An organization owner or admin can cancel Make. Check which team and organization can remain on Free before confirming.

Before you cancel
Export important scenarios and coordinate with teammates. Check all organizations owned by the account and identify which one should retain the Free allowance.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Make
Purchased directly from Make
- Open Org in the sidebar, then My Plan and Subscription.
- In Manage, select Cancel subscription.
- Give the reason and continue after reviewing lost features.
- If prompted, select the team to retain.
- Acknowledge the Free-organization restriction, choose Cancel subscription and save the confirmation email.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The current plan lasts until the billing cycle ends. Unused credits do not carry into Free. An organization left without a license cannot run scenarios.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can every organization become Free after cancellation?
No. Make limits Free organizations and teams. Its cancellation flow warns about another Free organization becoming unlicensed; review the selected organization before proceeding.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
