How to Cancel Miro Subscription
Cancel Miro Starter or Business from the correct team’s billing console. Boards are retained, but can become view-only after expiry.

Before you cancel
Use a team, company, or billing admin account. Export anything you need and check for outstanding license invoices.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Miro
Purchased directly from Miro
- Switch to the team with the paid subscription, open your avatar, and choose Admin console or Settings.
- Open Billing and choose Cancel subscription under Billing actions.
- Continue through the cancellation choices, select a reason, and finish with Cancel subscription.
- Check the expiry date and the confirmation emailed to team admins.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid access continues through the current term.
- After expiry, boards are retained in view-only mode until you select an available Free plan or renew. Unpaid additional-license charges may still be collected.
Cancellation and refunds
Miro does not offer a refund for unused subscription time in its cancellation guide. Ask support to review an incorrect charge separately.

Miro instructs users to cancel the subscription separately in billing settings.
Can I change seats after cancellation?
The subscription must be reactivated before changing its team size or plan.
