How to Cancel PDF Expert Subscription

Cancel recurring PDF Expert plans through Readdle or Apple. A one-time Mac license is different from a subscription.

Before you cancel

Check the exact product and receipt; PDF Copilot is a separate web product. Readdle asks for cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal or trial expiry.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel PDF Expert

Purchased directly from PDF Expert

  1. For a website purchase, open PDF Expert on Mac.
  2. In the PDF Expert menu, select View My Account, then Cancel and complete confirmation.
  3. On iPhone or iPad, a direct purchase can be managed in PDF Expert Settings, Account, then Cancel beside the plan.
  4. Record the resulting status and end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select PDF Expert, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The trial guide says canceled Premium trials remain usable through their original trial period.
  • A one-time Mac purchase has no recurring plan to switch off; confirm what your receipt actually covers.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
